Terms of service

VibedSites.ai (“we”, “us”) operates a community-curated index of independently made websites. By creating an account, submitting a listing, posting a comment or review, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms, to the community guidelines, and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

• You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account. Where local law sets a higher digital-consent age (16 in parts of the EEA), you must meet that age or have verifiable parental consent.
• The service is a general-audience service. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them; accounts we believe belong to a child under the applicable age are removed.
• You must not be barred from using the service under applicable sanctions or export-control law, and you must not use the service if we have previously terminated your account.
• One person, one account. Accounts may not be sold, rented, shared or transferred.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials secure, and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings; deletion removes your profile and personal data as described in the privacy policy, while records we must keep for legal, security or abuse-prevention reasons are retained for the periods stated there.

You keep ownership of everything you submit: listing text, images, maker notes, comments, reviews and profile content (“your content”). To operate the service you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable and transferable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for formatting and thumbnailing, publish, distribute and display your content in the service and in reasonable promotion of the service. This licence lasts while your content is on the service, and for a short period afterwards to the extent needed for backups, caches and legal retention. You confirm that:

• you own the site you list or are authorised by its owner to list it;
• you hold all rights necessary to grant the licence above, including in any image you upload;
• your listing’s title, description, category, format, use cases, audience, tags, pricing and platform claims are accurate and not misleading;
• your content does not infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights.

We do not claim ownership of your website itself. A listing is an index entry pointing to a site you control.

The community guidelines form part of these terms. In addition, you must not:

• distribute malware, spyware, phishing pages, cryptojacking scripts or deceptive downloads, or link to them;
• misrepresent your identity, your affiliation, your site’s functionality, its pricing, or its age suitability;
• run scams, deceptive monetisation, undisclosed paid placement, fake reviews, engagement farms, vote manipulation, or ranking manipulation of any kind;
• submit link shorteners, redirect chains, doorway pages, scraped or auto-generated content farms, or empty pages whose only purpose is collecting emails;
• post content that harasses, threatens, sexualises minors, incites violence, promotes terrorism or organised hate, facilitates self-harm, or sells regulated goods unlawfully;
• publish another person’s private information without their consent;
• scrape, crawl at damaging rates, reverse-engineer, probe, or circumvent security, rate limits, moderation or age controls;
• use the service to train models on our content or on other people’s content without permission;
• resell or commercially redistribute the index, or misuse our name, logo or brand.

Submissions are screened by automated systems and, where the outcome is risky or unclear, by a person. Automated screening can hold a listing back from publication, ask for changes, or route it to human review; it never permanently deletes an account or a listing on its own. We may, at our discretion and with or without prior notice where risk requires it:

• refuse, edit for formatting, request changes to, unpublish, restrict or permanently remove any listing, comment, review or image;
• suspend, limit or terminate an account, including for repeated or severe violations, or for evading a prior enforcement action;
• remove content that is unlawful, unsafe, deceptive or in breach of these terms.

We keep an internal, append-only record of moderation decisions, including who acted, when, and why. Where the law requires it, for example content involving the sexual exploitation of minors, we report to the appropriate authorities and preserve the relevant records.

If we remove your content or restrict your account, we will tell you what happened and give the reason, unless telling you would be unlawful or would compromise an active safety investigation. You can appeal by replying to that notice or through the contact page. A person who did not make the original decision reviews it wherever practical, and we will reinstate content removed in error. Intellectual-property complaints follow the process on the copyright and IP page.

• Ratings and reviews come from signed-in accounts, one per person per site. You may not rate or review your own listing, or arrange for others to do so on your behalf.
• Ranking is organic and derived from community signals, link health and freshness. Payment never buys a place in organic results. Advertising and paid promoted listings are offered, and they are clearly labelled and kept separate from organic results.

Every listing links out to a website we do not own, operate, control or audit, and those links open in a new tab. A listing is a pointer, not an endorsement, certification, security review or guarantee. You visit third-party sites at your own discretion and risk, and their terms and privacy practices apply there. Named platforms and tools (“built with”) are creator-declared and are trademarks of their respective owners; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

The service, its design, code, curation, taxonomy and branding are ours or our licensors’. These terms grant you no right to use our trademarks or to copy the index. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation or compensation.

The service is under active development and is currently provided free of charge. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may impose reasonable limits on submissions, storage or requests. We will give reasonable notice of changes that materially disadvantage you where we can.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service and all content in it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that any listed third-party site is safe, lawful, accurate, functional or suitable for you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising out of your use of the service or of any third-party site reached through it. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory rights under the consumer law of your country of residence, and nothing here overrides them.

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your content, your website, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of anyone’s rights. This does not apply where such an indemnity is unenforceable against consumers under applicable law.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these terms, for legal or safety reasons, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including licences needed for backups, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity and dispute terms, survive.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operating entity is established, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules, and without depriving consumers of the protection of their local law. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally. Where mandatory local rules apply, consumers may bring claims in the courts of their place of residence. The final governing-law, venue and dispute-resolution wording, including any arbitration terms and the identity of the operating entity, will be completed on legal sign-off before public launch.

We may update these terms. For material changes we will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page and give notice in the service or by email before the change takes effect. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms; if you do not accept them, delete your account.
